L'Oreal Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Waterproof - review

I received this eye make-up remover for testing a while ago and now that's almost finished the time has come for me to share my thoughts on it with you. It is L'Oreal Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Waterproof.

An innovation from the L'Oreal Laboratories, L'Oreal Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Waterproof  is specially formulated to combine effective cleansing with gentleness. The dark layer, rich in gentle oils, effectively removes waterproof and long-lasting make-up. The light layer is a very gentle lotion which adds a pleasant sensation of freshness. The result is quick and easy removal of make-up leaving no greasy film around the eyes.

Eye Makeup Remover Waterproof removes eye makeup instantly with a gentle, oil-free formula. Cleans delicate eye area without leaving a greasy film. Dermatologist-tested and safe for contact lens wearers. Gentle, oil-free formula cleans your delicate eye area without leaving a greasy film.

Directions for use :

1. Shake well before use until the colour is uniform.
2. Apply on eyes with cotton, wiping gently.

It comes in a 125 ml plastic recipient with a secure cap (very useful for liquid make-up removers) and has a valability of 6 months.  It is a biphasic make-up remover : one part oil-based, another part water-based.

Both textures must be quickly mixed before use, so as not to separate. It removes even the most stubborn long-lasting make-up from eyeshadows, to liners or waterprooof mascaras. Nothing can resist it. You only need to soak the pad into the make-up remover, apply it to the eyes, keep it there for a little while, then gently remove it. And that's it! Gentle, easy and very efficient! Love it!

I didn't have any skin reactions like itching or reddening, or any eye irritations from it. It removed the make-up gently and easily. It does leave a slight greasy film onto the skin but you can easily remove it with a micellar water. It is not an issue for me, I like the way it removes my eye make-up.

You can find it in stores at the price of aprox.19 ron/ 14 dollars. All in all, L'Oreal Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Waterproof is a gentle, efficient make-up remover for long-lasting, stubborn eye make-up. It does leave a slight greasy film onto the skin and has a valability of 6 months so beware! If you don't shake well the bottle to mix both liquids they will separate almost immediately. For 125 ml you pay around 19 ron. Therefore I give this eye make-up remover the -A grade. Until next time ,
