My freezing temperatures face care routine

It is winter here in Bucharest, freezing temperatures, high snow, weather forecasts predicting even more snow and low temperatures. Until about one week ago the winter was mild and warm. Now it has arrived with a bang! The temperatures are -20,-15 or less at night and -10 or less at day. And my skin is not taking it well. It has become dehydrated, dry, brittle and I got out of my stash the heavy guns : the products which are the most moisturizing and thick and creamy and comforting. So I decided to share them with you. Today's post is all about the face care routine (make-up removal, face hydration, face masks and make-up products). I'll be back with another post on the body care for these freezing temperatures. Let's begin!

I have postponed this post for lack of time to photo the products but I have had them since December so I thought I would show them to you. I am not really a nail polish addict, you may have noticed that on the blog , the nail polishes are few and far between but I like to wear nail polishes. On my nails they don't last long. What I really, really hate is chipped nail polish, so whenever I see one nail chipped I remove all of them.

Until now, I had the tendency to shy away from glitter nail polishes due to the pain of removing them. Well, after I bought the Sephora Instant Nail Polish Remover For Glitter, this ceased to be a problem. Why haven't I tried this before ??

Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge - dare to inspire

This past Christmas I was very good so my Santa brought me an Estee lauder set (I've unboxed it on Periscope, the video is here : katch.me/adrianatone/esteelaudercoloureditset). If I bought a perfume or a perfume set, I would receive the set at a convenient price. So I decided to  buy a set of 4 mini size perfumes by Estee Lauder : Beautiful, Pleasures, Modern Muse and Modern Muse Le Rouge. So far, I love the most Modern Muse Le Rouge and that's why it is the subject of my post today.

I test a product for a longer period of time and if I really like one and use it all the time it enters in my favourite category. Therefore I will post my favourites every season or more. As I told you in yesterday's post Santa Sephora has brought all its magical gifts for Christmas 2015 in the stores. Of course I was curious to see them so I stopped yesterday in Sephora Afi and checked them out. All Sephora Christmas collection 2015 looks wonderful, wintery and cosmosy and full of magic (I'll be back with a special post on it). But what I loved the most were all the wonderful limited edition kits from Benefit. They are so colourful, lively and fun! Today's post is about another favourite product I have used almost every day since I had it. It is a small neutral palette from Sephora : the Colorful 5 Eyeshadow Palette - no.6 Pale to rich taupe. I generally like to use neutrals for my eye make-up and pair it with a very bold coloured lipsticks. This is currently my favourite make-up combination.

New In my make-up and care stash

I have accumulated many new products in my stash for the last months, my bag was full so I decided to show them to you and dig in. Since I am very short on time, I thought I would film them live on Periscope and show them to you (I am slightly yellowish in the video due to the light in the room). The video recording lasts for 24 hours on Periscope and I'll also post it on my Youtube channel where it will stay permanently.

La vie en pink make-up look

I have thought about showing you some of my daily make-up looks and the products I use for a long time and it has proved difficult for me so far since I often don't have time to photo the products and the make-up look. But I'll try my best ; I want to show you the products in the make-up look, on the face not only in swatches, writing about them.

So I decided to start a new section of my blog - looks, where I humbly present you my daily make-up and the products I use. I don't consider myself a make-up guru I simply want to show you what works for me and what products I like.

And now let's see the look for today's post : I entitled it La vie en pink. I looove pink both onto cheeks and onto the lips; the bolder, the better. I prefer to showcase either the eyes or the lips. That day the lips were on show with Too Faced Melted lipstick in Melted Candy.
