It is the day before Christmas and everyone is making preparations for the holiday to come. And we make traditional food, we clean the house, we put up the Christmas tree and sing carols to get in the holiday mood. And caught up in all these preparations, many of us forget about our own needs. Yes ladies we need to pamper ourselves with a beautiful make-up, a gorgeous nail polish and a great hair do for the Christmas day. Well, I have great news : Melkior has just launched its festive make-up collection  named I am Famous.

Collistar Transparency collection gets you ready for sun and fun - swatches

When I went to the opening of Debenhams I noticed the Collistar display and the new collection but I didn't have the time to check it out properly. So I promised myself I would be back. I did and now I present you with the latest collection from Collistar - Transparency. The collection is created in collaboration with industrial design brand Kartell which is known for its transparent designs.

They used their trademark imagery for the Collistar Transparency collection creating a brand new special packaging. The collection is already in stores in Debenhams, Douglas and Sephora.

Melkior - a magical universe of colour and dreams coming true - swatches

On Valentine's Day, the day in which we celebrate and cherish love, I paid a visit to a brand I knew little about : Melkior. I have received a mascara at a beauty blogger's meeting and I am currently testing it. I will be back with a full review soon. Anyway I won a make-up contest on their Facebook page and I went to have my make-up done and in doing so, to test their products about which I heard so many good things.

So I'll try and do my very own list of products for a full make-up look with only 100 ron (of course with this sum of money you can't have a lot of products to work with, but that's the interesting part - to create a make-up look with only a few key products).
