I haven't posted a monthly favourite type post (very popular right now) before because I don't change my favourites every month. I test a product for a longer period of time and if I really like one and use it all the time it enters in my favourite category. Therefore I will post my favourites every season or more. I decided to start the favourites category on the blog with a bang, with the Most loved in 2015 ! Let's see them !

Monica's empties #4 part 1
I can't believe it, I didn't update this post since August!! Shame on me. Well, I have accumulated many products, old and new and now this box is quite full so it's time I post this late empties post and let them go.. Here they are :
Make-up removers :
Bioderma Sensibio H2O micellar water - is one of the best cleansers I have ever used. Although I have
combination skin I still prefer to use the Sensibio H2O
(it is not sticky; it is eye-friendly; it leaves the skin cleansed and
refreshed; I didn't feel the need to rinse it off - I adore it!).
Although it is not the cheapest of them all, I believe that its great
quality makes up for the money spent.
L'Oreal Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Waterproof - a gentle, efficient make-up remover for long-lasting, stubborn eye
make-up. It does leave a slight greasy film onto the skin and has a
valability of 6 months so beware! If you don't shake well the bottle to
mix both liquids they will separate almost immediately. Therefore I give this eye make-up remover the -A
grade.
Bioderma Sébium H2O - is a good cleanser but it is not the right one for me : it didn't reduce
my excess sebum, I cannot use it onto my eyes, it has perfume and it is
slightly drying ; also the price is not very cheap (therefore I give it
the C grade).
Ivatherm Aquafil Light Mild Cleansing Milk for face and eyes - has created in me two mixed reactions : I love it for the face, I hate it for the eyes! Unfortunately it is designed for face and eyes; for normal or mixed sensitive skin. It should have a gentle cleansing effect and anti-inflamatory properties. It
didn't work that well on my eyes therefore I give it the C grade (for
the strong irritation it caused my eyes every time I used it).
Nivea 3in1 micellar cleansing water - a decent make-up remover for the face for me, it didn't cause me any
irritations or reddening of the skin. It is a too gentle remover for the
eyes for me, I use long-lasting eye make-up since I have oily eyelids,
so I need a stronger make-up remover. I give it the B grade due to its
too gentle formula (it doesn't remove all the make-up for face and eyes
as easily as it promises).
Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover - removes very effectively the eye make-up (and I do it all the way:
base, eye shadows, eye liner, mascara). I don't mind the slight greasy
feeling it leaves the skin as long as it gently cleans the eye area. It is a very good quality eye make-up remover so I give it the A grade.
L'Oréal Paris Skin Perfection Purifying Micellar Water for normal and combination skin - is a good cleanser but it is not suitable for me : it didn't reduce my
excess sebum, I cannot use it onto my eyes and it is
slightly drying ; therefore I give it
the B grade.
Cora maxi make-up remover pads -
still my favourites at the moment; 100% cotton, 40 pieces per pack; soft and
large - easy to use and covering a larger face area I use a smaller
number overall. They don't shred and efficiently remove make-up at a
decent price of aprox. 5 ron. I gave them the A grade!
Hair care :
NIVEA MEN Pure Impact Shampoo - is a decent daily shampoo that gently cleans the skin. It can be easily
found in stores at a good price. It receives the C grade.
Le Petit Marseillais Shampoo Apple & Olive tree leafs - is a decent daily shampoo for normal hair. It has an affordable price
and it is easy to find. And it smells lovely of fresh, green apples.
Therefore I give it the C grade.
Batiste dry shampoo Original - is great for refreshing the oily hair. It doesn't add volume and body to
a fine, flat hair like mine. Although I love, love, love it for my oily
hair, I still prefer to buy the XXL Volume for the extra oomph of
volume and body it gives my hair! Batiste dry shampoo is a wonderful
product so I wholeheartedly
give it the A grade no matter what type it is!!
Batiste dry shampoo XXL - Batiste dry shampoo is a miracle! I can save the look of my hair
whenever I need to, without having to worry about it looking greasy and
flat! I just love the XXL Volume especially for the oomph it gives to my
hair! I'm so very happy that I found it! I will definitely buy it and
keep it ready to save the day...the bad hair day. It is a wonderful
product so I wholeheartedly give it the A grade!!
Nail care :
Oriflame Apple & Cinnamon hand cream - is a
decent hand cream for the warmer seasons; it does not work for me in the
colder seasons. I like the sweet smell in the winter time but it isn't
nourishing enough. It has an affordable price and can be easily found.
Therefore I give it the C grade.
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat - is a great product : it dries very easily the nail polishes in a matter
of minutes, it gives the nail polishes a lovely glossy, shiny finish
and, the most important, it improves the life of the nail polishes from 4
to 7 days without chipping. Therefore I give it the -A grade (high
price, hard to find on online stores, it dries needing a thinner). But I
would still buy it! I adore it! There is no top coat I have used to
have the same results.
BYPHASSE Essential Nail Polish Remover for dark&resistant nail polishes - is a decent product for normal nail polishes. It is not appropiate for
glitter nail polishes. It needs a lot of soaking and rubbing to get it
off. You can find it easily in stores and it has a decent price.
Therefore I give it the C grade.
Face care :
Gerovital H3 Classic Nourishing Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream - (second one) is a good nourishing, night
cream for mature, very dry or dehydrated skin. It has a greasy texture
that is quickly absorbed into the skin. It doesn't visibly reduce the signs
of skin aging. It is easy to find and has an affordable price.
Therefore it receives the -B grade (the scent is not very pleasing but
the texture is right for very dry skin; it doesn't visibly reduce the signs of skin aging).
The Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate eye cream - is a good eye concentrate that is
very fast absorbed into the skin. It moisturized and refreshed my eyes
after the massage with the roller ball applicator. I noticed, in time,
slight reduction of my dark circles and my eye looked less tired and
puffy, but it was not dramatic enough to make the higher price worth it
for me. Taking everything into consideration, I give the B grade to The Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate.
And that's the end of part 1! Tomorrow I'll post part 2 for this empties batch, I don't want the post to be too long and boring. Until next time,
This post is part of the #chicprofilechallenge by Tavia from
Chicprofile.com. A challenge for all of us Romanian beauty bloggers to
better ourselves, publish more on the blog (I am trying to post twice a
day for three days a week in December, let's see how it goes), make more
videos both on Periscope and Youtube, post more on social media and
improve ourselves day by day. Challenge taken!

Batiste dry shampoo Original - review
I have declared a while ago my great love for Batiste dry shampoo Xxl Volume. I adore it, it refreshes rapidly my oily hair and also gives it a boost of volume. In August there was a good offer in all Batiste dry shampoos so I took advantage and bought a few more to have in my stash. I have finished the Batiste dry shampoo Original so now it's time to share with you my impressions on it.

thoroughly testing the products and having a clear opinion on them to
share with you. So without further ado, let's see the empties :

Batiste dry shampoo XXL - my saviour for a bad hair day !
Yesterday I had to participate to a very important meeting #BeautySwapByBeautyBarometer , where many, many beauty bloggers would meet, chat and swap beauty products.Very, very fun! But of course my hair just wouldn't cooperate: I had washed it one and a half day before and it was already very oily and lacking volume. Bad, bad hair! And a bad hair day soon would follow! I just couldn't attend the meeting like that! What to do ? I didn't have the time to wash it so I took my saviour out of my stash : Batiste dry shampoo to the resque !!! Before I show you how it saved the day something about the brand :
...........................
The products in the Revitalise It range contain amazing fragrances for hair that smells as great as it looks. For the ultimate volume boost, the Oomph It range is the one to go for. Strength and Shine Dry Shampoo with L-Arganine in the Nourish It range is perfect for refreshing dull and tired hair while Smoothing Conditioning Mist is enriched with the naturally moisturising and nourishing Argan Oil and is for the mid length & ends. The Hint of Colour products are colour tinted, so they blend seamlessly, whatever your hair colour. source : batistehair.co.uk
..........................
Batiste Dry Shampoo is a starch based product with an innovative ‘no water needed formula’ which banishes oily roots and boosts body giving dull lifeless hair the makeover that it needs without any water. A quick burst revitalises hair leaving it feeling clean and fresh. No need to worry about skipping a shampoo.
I have the Batiste XXL Volume in the travel size in the 50ml/1.6 oz recipient of product .
...........................
Batiste is a personal hair care brand which was founded in 1975 by Schwarzkopf as part of a larger hair care range.
But then in 2001 Church and Dwight bought Batiste and Batiste was
relaunched with a new design and the beginning on their trade
markcolours. Batiste offers a large range of dry shampoos that are perfect
for every hair type or colour.
'For over 40 years we've been using our expertise to help women have
fabulous hair every day. That’s why we've created a range of products
for use between washes when you need a quick fix, but still want your
hair to look amazing. Whatever your hair style, type or colour, we have
the product for you.'
The science behind Batiste:
At the heart of all Batiste Dry Shampoos is an innovative starch based
“no water needed” formulation. Adapting to your hairs needs, it targets
excess oil and grease, helping to eliminate it at the roots. Boosting
body it gives dull, lifeless hair the makeover that it deserves without
water. Just spray, massage in and style! The products in the Revitalise It range contain amazing fragrances for hair that smells as great as it looks.
