Longing for the summer - Ming Shu Fleur de l'Aube

Today's post in a trip in the past, the perfume it features is one of the oldies and goodies (it's no longer available, maybe on Ebay). It is a perfume I own for many years, I use it sparingly since I love it very much and I am trying to keep it with me a little longer. It is Yves Rocher Ming Shu Fleur de l'Aube. When I wear it I feel the summer breeze, the sunshine, I feel free and happy, feminine and elegant, ready to take on the world.

Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge - dare to inspire

This past Christmas I was very good so my Santa brought me an Estee lauder set (I've unboxed it on Periscope, the video is here : katch.me/adrianatone/esteelaudercoloureditset). If I bought a perfume or a perfume set, I would receive the set at a convenient price. So I decided to  buy a set of 4 mini size perfumes by Estee Lauder : Beautiful, Pleasures, Modern Muse and Modern Muse Le Rouge. So far, I love the most Modern Muse Le Rouge and that's why it is the subject of my post today.

A new beauty and fashion destination : Debenhams Plaza Romania

My lovely readers I have great news for you today : another Debenhams store has opened its doors in Plaza Romania mall. Oh how happy I am! As I have told you before I am a fan of British brands and stores since my visits to London in 2008 and 2009. And I have long wished for many brands to come to Romania, some did, some didn't. I am still waiting.. I have previously told you about the opening of its first store in Vitan Mall. And now I'm back to show you the store in Plaza Romania Mall.

Yves Rocher Naturelle Eau de toilette - my fresh breeze in the summer

In these very hot days I can't really stand many strong scents, especially in perfumes. A sweeter scent that I like in the winter time makes me sick in the summer. Therefore I like to wear very fresh, citrusy, light scents. One of my favourites is Yves Rocher Naturelle. 

Sephora Eau de Toilette Lemon Verbena - one must-have for me in the summer!

In the summer time I love to use fresh, flowery scents in all products, especially in perfumes. The all-time favourite scent is lemon, especially lemon-verbena. One of the perfumes I buy again and again each summer is Sephora Eau de Toilette Lemon Verbena. As you have seen in a haul I posted before I found it on sale therefore I bought three! This is how much I love it in the summer!

So yesterday, together with Andreea from ZonaMov (to whom I had promised a visit to Inglot), we set out to conquer Baneasa Shopping City mall with our eyes set on beauty and cosmetics, as beauty bloggers that we are. It was a very fun and interesting experience!

A little Sephora haul

Ladies, you know by now that the Sephora summer sales have started! There are sales up to 70% off selected products. I've seen reductions at Make-Up For Ever, Benefit, Lancome, Clinique, YSL, Estee Lauder and more. There were also reductions at OPI, Ciate, Max Factor, Bourjois, Sephora and more so go and check them out! You know me I just couldn't help myself, I bought some necessities.

On the 4th of July it was my birthday and Yves Rocher, same as many years before, sent me an email offer I couldn't resist! If I ordered a minimum 50 ron I would get the Naturelle Eau du toilette 75ml free. I adore this perfume, especially in the summer! So I placed the order and it arrived today.

You know by now that I looove perfumes!! I am totally in love with Moments du Bonheur by Yves Rocher. I also love Quelques Notes d’Amour, Néroli, Yria, So Elixir Purple and for the hot summer days Naturelle. And when I've heard that Michel Girard, who created Naturelle will launch a new limited edition for 2015, I was really excited!!

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea body range : revive the body, detox the mind

I was and still am very fascinated by Japan, with its geishas, its culture and traditions, its samurai warriors and its bushido code. I am dreaming about visiting Japan but for now it's too expensive .. One of my all time favourite books is Shogun by James Clavell. This is the book that started my fascination and love for all things Japan. Of course one of my wishes is to actually see a proper Japanese tea ceremony. It is such a meaningful ritual, full of spirituality and aesthetics.

Debenhams Mall Vitan a new destination for beauty and fashion

On the 26th of March the famous British brand Debenhams re-opened its Mall Vitan store with a bang ! The new Debenhams store houses three floors of fashion for women, men and children and a home dedicated section. (and a premiere to Romania - an entire floor of beauty!) I am pretty sure you are familiar with the clothes - great quality and keeping up with the latest fashions, therefore I will present you the beauty section.

If you are a British lover like me you surely know many things about Debenhams. It is one of the most known and loved British stores. I had my first encounter with Debenhams in 2008 during my first trip to London, I visited the Oxford Street one. I loved its grand size and its diversity in fashion (sizes from the xs to the xxl ones) and prices. Of course I bought some clothes that I still love and wear. Very good quality products and very fashionable too!

One of my complaints about the shops they opened in Romania a few years ago was that they only brought a small variety of products comparing with the stores in UK and the beauty section was completely missing!
  
I am glad to share with you the good news : Debenhams re-opens its Romanian stores, starting from 26th March (the shop in Bucuresti Mall). And the most important thing : the new store will host a beauty section with over 100 beauty brands including skin care, make-up and perfumes (among them being Dior, Lancome, Givenchy, Bvlgari, Dolce&Gabbana, Estee Lauder, Calvin Klein, Paco Rabanne and L'Oreal). An entire beauty universe to explore!
