Summer is geting closer! It's Party Time !!

The most famous party time period known in history was in the 70's, the Studio 54 era. It was an era of excesses - they partied like there was no tomorrow under the belief that "everything goes". There were no rules, no boundaries, it was all about the attitude - being the most flamboyant, unique, eye-catching and risque was a must !
 It is said that event planner Robert Isabell had four tons of glitter dumped in a four-inch layer on the floor of Studio 54 for a New Year's Eve party, which owner Ian Schrager described as like "standing on stardust" and left glitter that could be found months later in their clothing and homes.
     
Frequent regulars at Studio 54 included Andy Warhol, Liza Minnelli, Bianca Jagger, Elizabeth Taylor, Halston, Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall, Debbie Harry, Grace Jones, Michael Jackson, Calvin Klein, Elton John, Tina Turner, Truman Capote, Janice Dickinson, Diana Ross, Cher, Salvador Dali, Diana Vreeland, John Travolta, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Brooke Shields and Martha Graham.
    
Performers at Studio 54 during its first few years of operation included Grace Jones, Donna Summer, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Gloria Gaynor, The Village People, Anita Ward, Linda Clifford and many more.
    
The majority of the Studio 54 regulars were world-wide famous through their unique style, attitude and work and many of them are regarded as fashion icons .

No matter what you wear and how you do your make-up and hair you must be YOU ! Don't try to change who you are to follow a trend that's in fashion! You will feel you are wearing a mask, that it does not represent who you are and you'll feel uncomfortable!
     
So ladies wear what suits you best and what you feel good in! If you feel good, your confidence will shine through! If you like to be bold, wear it with attitude, don't let it wear you ! So ladies rock the party all night long !

The L'Oreal lipstick comes with me to the party!

My inspiration for this look was the wonderful Lisa Minnelli - an icon both in music and in fashion.

Lisa's make-up is still fashionable today : she used the black eye liner (always in fashion) and false lashes to contour the eyes and complemented the look with a pop of colour onto the lips.
    
I prepared my skin with L'Oreal Nutri Gold oil and I added the base. Then I used L' Oreal's black eyeliner very lightly smudged on top with Color Riche eye shadow in Smoky, Miss Manga mascara in two layers and Color Riche Rose Creme lipstick onto the lips.

I left my hair lightly tousled and natural-looking - a big trend in 2015 and I wore a long, black dress with silver dot details onto it. Black never goes out of style and you can dress it up or down with accessories. I complemented the dress with a vintage silver beaded clutch, which is sure to steal the show ! Metallics are so IN this year !

This is my party inspired look and I hope I can inspire you to use the trends in fashion, hair and make-up to suit and represent you ! Fashion is IN and OUT but style is forever ! Be original, authentic and be YOU !
