Nivea 3in1 micellar cleansing water - review

Another make-up remover which I'm about to finish - I used this micellar water only to remove my eye and lip make-up, I cleansed the rest of the face with another make-up remover (I currently use Gerovital Happiness face cleansing gel cream with raspberry extract). Since I'm about to hit pan on this micellar water I thought I would share my thoughts on it with you.
  
This  Nivea micellar water (for all skin types) cleanses deeply, removes make-up from face and eyes and moisturises in one step. It comes in a 200 ml plastic recipient with a secure cap and has a valability of 12 months.

The formula contains Dexpanthenol & Grape Seed Oil so:

• It cleanses deeply thanks to its extra effective yet mild cleansing complex
• It moisturises and refreshes the skin
• It is free of parabens, colours and perfume .

How to use (they say) : Gently massage to skin with cotton wool while keeping eyes closed. No need to rub or rinse.
  
Actually I have to rub quite a lot since it doesn't remove the eye make-up so well, especially the mascara (I use only normal ones, not water-proof) and the eye liner (especially if it's long lasting). I didn't like the fact that I had to rub quite strongly and repeat the cleansing with several pads to remove all eye make-up so in the end I used it onto my face, where it removed better the make-up.

All in all, Nivea 3in1 micellar cleansing water is a decent make-up remover for the face for me, it didn't cause me any irritations or reddening of the skin. It is a too gentle remover for the eyes for me, I use long-lasting eye make-up since I have oily eyelids, so I need a stronger make-up remover. I give it the B grade due to its too gentle formula (it doesn't remove all the make-up for face and eyes as easily as it promises). If you don't use a stronger make-up or you have a sensitive skin I recommend you try this make-up remover! It can work for you! Until next time ,

Grape Seed Oil - is a preferred cosmetic ingredient for controlling moisture of the skin. Light and thin, grape seed oil leaves a glossy film over skin when used as a carrier oil for essential oils in aromatherapy. It contains more linoleic acid than many other carrier oils. Dexpanthenol -  D-panthenol - a provitamin of B_{5 ,} has moisturizing properties . It is a humectant, emollient and moisturizer. In ointments, panthenol is an effective skin penetrator. It is sometimes mixed with allantoin, in concentrations of up to 2-5%, and is used for treatment of sunburns, mild burns and minor skin disorders. It improves hydration, reduces itching and inflammation of the skin, and accelerates healing.
