Estee Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Bois de Rose Creme - review

I love lipsticks. I prefer to wear them much more than lip glosses. I tend to eat the lip products I have on, so the lipstick lasts longer on me. I like light, creamy, hydrating formulas that are not sticky on the lips. I like both neutral and bold colours in my lipsticks but lately my lipstick collection has more bold colours than neutrals. One of the neutral lipsticks I love to wear is the subject of this post : Estee Lauder  Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Bois de Rose Creme.

Estee Lauder  Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Bois de Rose Creme - Intense, high-shine color in a long-wearing formula that pampers and comforts. Incredibly luxurious, with Vitamins C and E plus natural moisturizers. It comes in an elegant dark blue with gold packaging and is a dusty rose/caramel nude with a satin finish. Is has a creamy formula enriched with apricot kernel and shea butter.

The colour is intense, very pleasant and warm. It is suitable for both a day look with a nude make-up and a strong night  look with a smoky eye. After the application the lips are soft, smooth and well hydrated. It has a delicate sweet smell and it gives the lips a voluptuous, shiny look. It doesn’t settle into the fine lip lines and I doesn't feel sticky on the lips.
   
The colour started to wear away on me after 3 hours and I had to reapply the lipstick again. I love the creamy, hydrating texture and the pleasant, warm colour. It complements well the make-up and gives the look warmth and colour. You can see how it looks below :

All in all, Estee Lauder  Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Bois de Rose Creme is a good quality lipstick. It has an intense, high-shine color in a long-wearing formula that is at the same type creamy and hydrating. It is not long lasting on my lips, it fades in around 3 hours. It is an expensive lipstick. I give it the B grade (for the not so long-lasting effect on my lips and the higher price). Until next time,
