My newest love : Estee Lauder's Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara/Estee Lauder Lash Primer Plus Full Treatment Formula

I am a difficult customer: I have decent lashes but I always want more from my mascara. To add more length, to add more volume, to have my lashes well separated, to last all day and not gather under the eyes at the end of the day, to remove with ease without losing my lashes on the way. Piece of cake, right?

I have tried many mascaras and I am still searching for the perfect one, to tick all the boxes! Even if I find it , I will still try the newest ones, I love to test the latest in beauty!

When I went to the Beauty bloggers meeting by Beautybarometer I received for testing several Estee Lauder products. I was soo happy, the brand is a high-end one with great quality products. One of them was Estee Lauder's Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara/Estee Lauder Lash Primer Plus Full Treatment Formula sample size.

The mascara (01 Extreme black) comes in a plastic recipient of 2.8 ml/0.1 oz. of product and it is supposed to give outrageous volume, lift, and curve for a false-lash effect. The primer comes in a plastic recipient of the same size as the mascara. It is a high-performance lash primer that doubles the volume. Both the mascara and the primer have a valability of 6 months.

Lash out with Estēe Lauder’s Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara. With each application, eyelashes seem to multiply, magnify, and grow for a bright-eyed, sexy look. Formulated with Extreme Bold Volum, a blend of three high-volume fibers in a mousse-light base, it conditions lashes with its Lash-Advancing Vitamin Complex. It features a wand with an oversized BrushComber Extreme brush, designed with two types of bristles: flexible fibers to coat on maximum formula, and its solid fibers comb and separate, building better volume and clump-free definition. 

It is Ophthalmologist-tested & fragrance-free. The mascara wand is thicker then I usually prefer but I like that it is not too big and the bristles are evenly spaced, a little bit larger at the base getting thinner at the top. The primer wand has roughly the same shape only it is a little smaller.

I like the best mascaras that define and separate the lashes, elongating them and giving them a little bit of volume. I like natural, separated, long lashes that define the eye and make it look wider and brighter.

Considering that it promises to give volume, length and curl to the lashes, I was really curious to see if it is that good and worth the higher price. As per usual, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I love that it is a black mascara and it didn't cause any reaction to my eyes. Let's try with two coats, not too heavily applied.

I love  the combination between the primer and the mascara, the primer separates well the lashes, preventing the mascara from clumping (the mascara also has a perfect consistency, not too runny and not too thick, you don't have to wipe the excess from the brush before use to avoid clumping the lashes, as with other mascaras).

The mascara and the primer are very easy to use, the wands are the perfect size, you can use them into the inner corner of the eye and you don't smudge the mascara onto the lid as with the bigger wands. I love the wide-eye look this mascara gives me! The pictures don't do it justice! Believe me you have to try it to see how lovely your lashes will be! I have hooded lids and often my eyes look sleepy, so the mascara is very important for me to prevent this from happening!

It is supposed to double the volume, curls, and sets the lashes. It boosts the performance of your mascara and extends its wear, so that less is needed, and it conditions lashes to help prevent breakage.

Suggested Usage:
-For best results, apply one coat of Lash Primer Plus.
-Immediately apply your mascara while the primer is still wet.

All in all Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara and Estee Lauder Lash Primer Plus Full Treatment Formula tick all the boxes for me, they are products of exceptional quality, a result of many years of research, passion and hard work. I give them the -A grade due to the high price only. If you don't worry about the money and you are searching for an exceptional quality mascara I would definitely recommend this mascara and primer for you!
