A new trend in make-up for 2015 - Cushion make-up

Lately I have seen that the Western beauty industry has started to pay more attention and even follow the Asian beauty trends (especially Korea), the BB/CC creams being a very strong current right now (they are even starting to launch DD creams), I think there is no beauty company from the drugstore to the high-end which doesn't have a BB/CC cream in its range.

The Korean girls prefer the Gwang way of caring for their skin - a dewy, glowing, perfect looking skin from the face care to the make-up products they use.
   
Another beauty trend in Korea that is very hot right now and that is just starting to be followed by the Western world is that of the Cushion Make-up (Compacts that enable you to carry around liquids, there is actually a cushion through the liquid comes through; you dab into the cushion - they come usually with sponges - and you smooth the product on with the sponge or your fingers. The texture of these Asian products is usually light, very perfecting to the skin, they give the skin a radiant finish).

The Korean trend of cushion make-up has been started by Lancome who presents Miracle Cushion Cream Foundation, its first liquid foundation encapsulated in a cushion. You can now achieve a perfect complexion within seconds by pressing lighting the puff cushion onto the skin and then applying to the entire face by patting gently. A new formula of a fresh and bright liquid foundation is combined with the practicality of a compact. International Launch Date – January 2015 at Lancome counters (price aprox. 45 euros)

What it stands for: Beauty balm
Texture: Creamy and moisturizing
What it does: Offers daily sun protection, extra hydration, and a touch more coverage than a tinted moisturizer. Because they don't have a high concentration of anti-aging ingredients, "use them as a supplement—not in place of—your other anti-aging creams or serums," says cosmetic chemist Ni'kita Wilson.
CC Creams 
What it stands for: Color correcting
Texture: Lightweight and fast-absorbing
What it does: Imparts an airy veil of coverage and a boost of both instant and protective coverage. "They typically have light-diffusing particles, which visually even skin tone, plus a super-dose of antioxidants," says Francesca Fusco, M.D, a New York City-based dermatologist.
DD Creams
What it stands for: Daily defense
Texture: See BB Creams
