NIVEA BB Cream 5 in 1 Beautifying Moisturiser - for blemish prone skin - review

I have loved the original Nivea BB cream version (review) so imagine my excitement when I found out Nivea will release a new version for oily/blemish prone skin. Yes, I was happy and excited to try it. I have used it for several weeks so here it is NIVEA BB Cream 5 in 1 Beautifying  Moisturiser - for blemish prone skin.

NIVEA BB Cream 5 in 1 Beautifying  Moisturiser. It is a tinted, anti-bacterial day cream, enriched with Magnolia Extract, which moisturises your skin and adapts to your skin’s natural tone for an even complexion. It is non-comedogenic, meaning it does not clog pores.
NIVEA BB Cream 5 in 1 Beautifying  Moisturiser, for blemish prone skin, it adapts to all skin tones. Its anti-bacterial, non-greasy formula is enriched with natural Magnolia Extract and a hint of color. It evens out imperfections such as blemishes and rebalances the natural skin tone. It helps effectively & long lastingly to reduce blemishes. It provides fast absorbing 24h moisture. It helps prevent shine during the day. It refines the appearance of pores. Many promises .. let's see of it did what it promised to do.
Directions for use : Apply daily on cleansed face by gently massaging in small circles, avoiding the eye area. I used it with my favourite Sigma F80 kabuki brush.

It comes in a 50 ml squeezy tube (I like it since it is quite hygienic) and has a valability of 12 months. As you can see from the photos below it is supposed to adapt to every skin tone. For me it is too dark. Even if I blend it very well it is still noticeable on the skin at a closer inspection.

The scent and texture are similar to the original BB cream. This time I had to blend better the BB cream but still it didn't show even onto the skin. I didn't like it. I didn't notice any lessening of the shine during the day, absolutely no change. I also didn't see any pore reductions.

The level of moisturization was ok for me in the autumn but it is insufficient during the winter time when my skin gets very dehydrated due to the lower temperatures.
You can find it in stores and online at the price of 22.12 ron for 50 ml.
All in all, NIVEA BB Cream 5 in 1 Beautifying  Moisturiser is a decent product, it nourishes and it evens out the skin, but the shade does not adapt to my lighter skin tone. I didn't lessen my skin shine during the day or minimize my pores. I still love the original BB cream and I will always prefer it over this one. Therefore I give it the C grade. Until next time,
