Melkior Shiny Lipstick in Cosmopolitan Red - review

I think you know by now that I was a late bloomer in discovering Melkior, but at soon as I visited its shop I was hooked! I love the eye shadows especially! They are very pigmented, easy to blend and very affordable. Now it's time to share with you my thoughts on one of their lipsticks - Melkior Shiny Lipstick in Cosmopolitan Red.

       Melkior Shiny Lipstick (4.5 gr.) :

• Light, pleasant texture.
• Hydrates the lips acting like a lip balm.
• Mirror-like, shiny finish for well defined, kissable lips.

How to apply : It can be applied onto the lips straight from the bullet or with a lip brush. For a long-lasting effect it can be applied on top of a lip pencil. For an impeccable look, it is recommended a  scrub and a good moisturization of the lips.
   
I have the lipstick in Cosmopolitan Red. The texture is very light and pleasant onto the lips. It applies very easily, sliding onto the lips, keeping them hydrated. It fades nicely in an hour or two from application. It can bleed a little but if you use a pencil first, it stays onto the lips and lasts better.

All in all, Melkior Shiny Lipstick in Cosmopolitan Red is a good, easy-to use lipstick with a very pleasant, light texture. Therefore I give it the -A grade (due to the slightly higher price). If you fancy light texture shiny lipsticks, give it a go! Until next time ,
