|some of my drugstore products|
It's hard to pick one I have several favourites, but looking at my make-up collection currently I own the most drugstore products from Revlon.
2.What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?
I like the long-lasting foundation from Max Factor, the Colorstay from Revlon and the BB cream from Nivea.
For the cheeks I looove the Milani Luminoso blush (a dupe for Nars orgasm) - review soon and the Max Factor Crème Puff Blush in Lovely Pink. In the hotter seasons I like to wear less make-up so tints and cream blushes are the favourites : currently Benefit Benetint and Chachatint and The Body Shop Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome in 02 Pink (a cream blonzer/blush in pink gold).
For the lips I use mostly lipsticks from Avon, Revlon, Essence, Rimmel and some higher end ones.
3. Least favourite product?
The long-lasting liquid lipsticks or glosses. I don't like the stickiness. I tend to eat the lip products and they fade in the middle and product does not look so good so I have to remove it (especially if it is a strong, bold colour).
4. What is the best makeup bargain?
The Milani baked blushes, all Wycon products, especially eye bases, shadows, liners, lipliners, blushes (I have reviewed a few products on the blog, search Wjcon and check them out! They are worth it!)
5. What is your favourite underdog product?
The Romanian Ada lip and eye crayons - very cheap and good quality (you can find them in the beauty metro shops).
6. A drugstore product that is overpriced.
Although very good quality the products from L'Oreal are a little bit pricey.
7. Show your best drugstore dupe!
As I said before the Milani Luminoso blush, The Balm Hot Mama and The Body Shop Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome in 02 Pink (a cream blonzer/blush in pink gold), all are dupes after the Nars Orgasm. (I'll make a post comparing the three, I don't have Nars orgasm).
The Maybelline 24h color tatoos for me too. I have very oily eyelids and they crease with or without make-up on top in around 4-5 hours. So no, for me they don't work as an eye base; they are said to be a dupe for the MAC paintpots. I have one in Painterly and it is the best. If I properly apply it, it keeps my eyeshadow from creasing for 8 to 9 hours minimum. I cannot say the same for the Maybelline ones. They are good, but they don't work as well in case of oily eyelids. They last much more for drier eyelids.
And that's it! This tag has inspired me to write another one showing you my very favourite drustore products (soon on the blog). I pass the challenge to Danamakeup , Lili's boutique and Makemeup28. Enjoy the tag ladies! Until next time ,
